the voice of the clay or "just a tool" - "anthropomorphism"

Hi everyone,

Since "anthropomorphism" is evidently such an extremely objectionable thing
to various people...

Can anyone kindly point out to me, any examples of it actually ever
occuring?

For it to be such a danger or anathema or horrific faux-pas, warranting this
sort of censure?

And, just what is the objection to it if given in detail?

What is thought to be the harm or loss or peril about it, for it to be such
a serious problem?

I would like to understand this better...

Dearest Phil,

I am sorry I can't help you with your delving into the deep structures
of anthropomorphism, or in our case, tools being turned into men, but
I think I might be of some help with the inverse: eryaleiomorphism.
(sorry, I really know nothing about Greek).

The immediate englished exemplar can be stated thus: We are all being
such TOOLS. The emphasis is entirely mine.

Let your heart determine the truthfulness of my claim, it's faithful
daily fulfillment here on this list, and any subsequent objections.
