Takashi Nakasato: Tradition and Innovation. =20
A 13th generation potter from Karatsu, Japan, Takashi =
Nakazato traveled the world to study other ceramic traditions, before =
returning home to Karatsu, to establish his studio. He works several =
months a year at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colorado, and =
has recently completed a residency at the Arvada Center; the body of =
work for this exhibition was created during his time in Arvada.
