flashing technique for electric kilns

Thanks to all who posted, the knowledge here is AMAZING. I love Flashing
and the magic of it but I am not ready, yet, for the risks involved with an
electric kiln and glazes for atmospheric changes, I think I need a workshop
on that to understand the risks involved. My goal, is a "branded" look
which I fell in love with years ago when I began. Flashing has always
intrigued me but my current set up doesn't allow for wood firings and
distance prevents me from exploring that at the moment. I have come close
to my goal of a branded look with under glaze and wax resist at cone ^6
firings, but was hoping there might be another way similar in technique,
without too much risk. I have just read that Underglaze can be applied over
glazes which I hadn't thought of either so I will explore that some as well
in the attempt for a "flashing" look and who knows. . .maybe. I do love the
stamped design with black underglaze as that is close to what Branded is
here in the west.
I have so much to learn, I sometimes think there is not enough time in a
day. . . Thanks for sharing your time and experience.
