Eric Serritella is a nationally exhibiting artist specializing in =
ceramic trompe l'oeil. He is strongly influenced by the Yixing aesthetic =
and studied it during his two residencies in Taiwan with Master Ah Leon. =

He will be offering a special one-day workshop, The Yixing Influence at =
Schoolhouse Gallery #3 in East Avon, NY. The workshop focuses on =
history, tea wares, aesthetics, and trompe l'oeil inspirations from =
Yixing. It will include a tea ceremony, a PowerPoint presentation, =
theories of design and form, demonstrations, and a Kung-fu tea ceremony =
using Yixing teapots. Interactive discussion will be encouraged =
throughout. There is also currently an exhibition of his work in the =
gallery.
