The above listed glaze, presents a beautifully frustrating problem.
Where it is thick, the glaze turns a beautiful gold over a thinner
reddisg brown. However, also where it is thick, the glaze shivers off.
Fournier's Dictionary recommends replacing the china clay with feldspar
or the china clay with ball. Since there is no feldspar to replace and
only a little china clay to work with, I'll try that. Any other
suggestions would be aprpeciated.
I have misplaced the recipe for a fantastic red/brown/green glaze. I
have several tomato red recipes that or just not as good. If anyone has
a very super incredibly reliable tomato red red/green/brown super glaze
that they could share you would have my eternal thanks.
