my spray booth solution

A short while ago, I wrote asking for some glazing advice. I was
having some glazing problems, mostly with dipping cups and mugs. I
spray everything else, and get nice results, but my dipping was very
problematic.

So I've really concentrated on dipping, using some suggestions that
were given here, and the good news is - I'm getting much better at it!
So - thanks to everyone who wrote and offered advice.

After corresponding with a couple of potters, I've decided that some
people seem stumped about spraying glazes. A few people suggested it's
expensive to do, considering the need for a compressor, a sprayer, and
a spray booth. So I came up with this blog post
(www.wooditis.blogspot.com) about how I spray.

It's my very low-tech solution to spraying, and might be interesting
if you're considering getting into spraying. Or if you just want to
see me getting dirty. :)

Thank you Jamie, I really enjoyed your spray demo. I like the
idea of the mason jars for the Critter. I bought the Harbor Freight
sprayer with the cup on top.
We use one like it at school but I haven't fired mine up at home yet.
Really need to get it going though, would be a great way to get glaze on my
face jugs. ( I wrote that last sentance with out "face" first but decided
some might not understand.) :-)

Great job with the video blog, ain't the web great?
