Come and meet Caterina Catenary! She is a nice little 12 cu.ft. gas
(propane) updraft. Easy to make and wonderful for reduction!
Her address is: www.R2D2u.net

I want a larger kiln that I can fire outside. I have two very small 110
electrics now and am anxious to find out how they work for those that have them.
I have a rented place with limited space both inside and out but I can use
every inch I can get. Reduction has always fascinated me so I think a
propane would be a good Idea for the high fire stuff. How much propane does it
take per firing? and how small a kiln can I get? just some questions ????

I have a 7' Aim updraft and a 24' West Coast updraft. The big one takes 28 gal to fire to ^10 the smaller one about 10 gal. Both do reduction just fine. I had to do some tuning on the Aim to get it to fire right but now it's great.
