Nice woodwork. How large are the rolls made with tool E002? You have a nice
big picture there, but it's hard to get a sense of proportion.
Also, what kind of wood are you using?

Hi Josh,
Thank you for checking out my tools!
Okay, so the tool is about 7" long and 1" wide with it narrowing slightly at
each end. On the end with the two differing sizes, one "roll" (the larger of
the two) is roughly 7/16" from point to middle point. The smaller one on the
same side is about 11/32". The opposite side has roughly matching "rolls"
each at about 13/32". (Don't forget to consider clay shrinkage.)
Now, I use the terms "roughly", and "about" due to the fact that these are
hand made using files for the detail portion of the tools, and then I
carefully sand them smooth.
I hope this answers your question. These tools can be customized to your
liking as well for a dollar or two more due to extra time spent making sure
it is to your specifications.
Almost forgot. The wood I use for these particular tools will be Brazilian
cherry. It is very hard and will hold its "tips" well, providing you don't
leave them soaking in water. As with any tool made of wood, this will
greatly reduce the life of the tool. That is usually an obvious point but I
just had someone ask me a question regarding that. Not trying to insult your
intelligents.
Thank you Josh!
Paul
