of course, the best kiln is the one you own.
we have been hoodwinked over the years by
macho folks...that high fire is the end all.
it is not.
there are thousands of ways to be a `clay person`
and quality at that.
cone 6 has changed the lives of thousands of potters.
great electric kilns.
so...don't have penis envy, kiln envy or breast envy.
be happy and proud with what you own, control for yourself.
but, i always say.
`take charge of your own firing. if you can.
that is the road to being complete.
there are many ways to control fire and heat.
find one that suits you.`
