I have just returned from John's glaze workshop in North Carolina. It was an amazing week and I learned a great deal. I now have several large bags of test tiles which will take me forever to investigate over time. 3 different clay bodies, 10 different oxide combinations done on several base glazes using 3 different firing temps. I never knew that so many different colors and textures were possible
If you ever have the chance to attend one of John's workshops it's a must do. The workbook alone is worth the week. All Hail John and his glazing knowledge!!
