kiln venting again

Thanks to everybody who responded to my question about my kiln vent ducting. I'm overwhelmed! Y'all rock! Particular thanks to Orton, who have offered to talk me through installation if necessary.

In summary for posterity, the advice I've gotten was:

*Don't use dryer duct, use the heavier all-aluminum flexible duct. (Oops, I didn't realize they were two different things. That was what I meant to be getting in the first place. Doh!)
*Or use PVC pipe
*Or use the nice rigid metal ducting.
*Use a flexible piece at the end if you need to install in and out of a window just during firing.
*Hang with the ducting bracket/straps. (They make such a thing?! This should have occurred to me, but the ductwork in my basement for the heat and AC was all hung with coathangers by the previous occupants and I didn't make the great leap of intellect that there might be a better system. That adds a new project to my do-it-yourself homeowner list!).
*Whatever you use for ducting, if it is metal it may corrode over time and if it is plastic it may become brittle from the heat and chemicals, so periodically check for leaks.

Thanks to you all. I'm snowed under with special orders at the moment, but I'll let you know how the project progresses in a week or so.
