If I didn't love snow so much, I would move to N.C. or Hawaii. My
oldest son is moving to Hawaii in the spring.

Just wondering about the Seagrove NC potters community. I have a personal
reason for visiting the area and I would like also to visit the
ceramic/potters there while I am there. Would like to search your websites and get a feel
for the place and what you have there since I have heard about all of you.

go to the nc pottery center's web site it will tell you all you need to know
about the potters and the area. Check out David Garner at turn and burn
pottery, he's the best in Seagrove and a great friend.

I concur, Turn and Burn is great with Dave Garner. He has a wealth of
information about the area and is willing to share. If you are in to
Crystalline Glazes visit Phil Morgan. Right in the center of town is a
Potters Assoc gallery that does not sell it only displays examples from
nearly all potters with instructions for visiting those you find
interesting. There is also a Museum just down the road from Turn and Burn,
it and many of the potters are closed on Mondays. Enjoy!

AND the old man has a great moustache. Ask to see his wood fired fiber
kiln. When I grow up I'm going to go visit him.

The mountains of NC get snow - more as you go higher in elevation.
