Hanes.com has a pretty reasonable price on 100% cotton tees, several
different weights.
I order from them for screen printing Tees.
I've ordered from some 'warehouse" places and for my purposes the quality
was inferior.
I do have another place I buy from, but the URL is on my other computer and
I'm waiting for a new power supply for it. If you like, I can send it to you
when that computer is back up...

Subject: Studio clothing: need some good t shirts
Hello,
I need some new shirts for in the studio because most of mine are worn
out from having to be washed all the time and I would like to get the
heaviest ones I can find in 100% cotton. So I am thinking about ordering
them on line from one of the places that specializes in t shirts. Has
anyone ever done this, and if so, can you recommend a place? I would
like something around 7 oz weight because the thicker the cotton the
longer they will last.
Thanks,
Paul

I like Duluth Trading Company's long tail tees. They last a long time, are
long enough that you will not suffer from plumber's butt while throwing, are
the size they say they are, do not shrink much, come in a good selection of
colors - find the color that matches your clay. Not the cheapest but wear
like iron. They ship fast too.

Someone *buys* t-shirts? People keep giving them to me. But then, I go to
a lot of conferences.

I go to the local thrift store. All the t-shirts I could want at $3 each
- some quite good quality - and as a bonus, the slogans of joints I've
never heard of printed across the front! (Actually, those cost extra;
the plain shirts are only $2 at my local Goodwill.) You are re-using
goods already manufactured (sometimes new and never worn), so
it conserves resources, and the money goes to a good cause.

Carthartt Tees are super heavy and very durable. A friend sent me a
couple 5 or 6 years ago in Japan and they are still going strong.
