Hi everyone,

If any of you have been contemplating purchasing a copy of Matrix then there
probably will not be a better time than now.

The NZ/US exchange rate has brought the price of Matrix V6 down to US$72.

In addition at present a purchase of this software comes with FREE enrolment
in an on-line glaze course consisting of 30 lessons covering a wide range of
topics and including activities and tutorials in the use of Matrix for
tackling various glaze issues.

For a full description of the course go to http://www.glazetechnology.com
When enrolled you have full email access to assistance in whatever part of
the course you desire.

After your purchase of Matrix at http://www.Matrix2000.co.nz you can, if you
wish, get started straight in on this self-paced course.

Kind regards,

Lawrence Ewing

Hi Ron,

With the advent of the Intel chip and great Mac software like Parallels
Desktop Matrix and other Windows software runs like a treat on Macs. I have
quite a number of users who run Matrix like this and they seem very happy.

I would like to have a native Mac version but unfortunately I do not have
the time or the resources to work on this. Now in my 70th year and suddenly
there does not seem much time left!! We are living on a 12 acre block in the
mountains now looking after numerous livestock and riding three horses. In
semi-retirement though depending still on teaching glaze tech as a distance
on-line course for Otago Polytechnic.

I am also doing my best to maintain some pottery work in my just completed
studio .... excuses, excuses!

Kind regards,
Lawrence

Hi Laurence,

I think we are in the same boat - I have 65 acres but no live stock - just
a fancy lawn mower and some mountain bikes.

Made a few pots this year for a wood firing but - I'm getting over losing
my wife two years ago - finally starting to laugh a bit now - still
thinking of pots but I'm learning to draw and photo as well.

Hope you are adapting - not as easy as we thought it would be - right?

Best regards - R

Hi Ron,

I could do with your fancy lawn mower ... is that what we call a "ride on"?

The nearest I have to a ride on mower is my horse "Legend". Unfortunately he
is a little slow at consuming the grass and drop stuff out the other end
that I have to clean up anyway.

No it is not as easy as I thought but the environment and the people are
magnificent. There is a greater sense of family here than we have ever
experienced even though our blood relatives are many miles away.

Judith my wife is an artist painting in oils. Things are not looking too
good for survival from our artwork down here at the moment. We spent quite a
bit transforming a barn building into two studios and hay sheds etc for the
horses so we don't have much left as a backup.

60 acres sounds like a lot Ron. Is it country that won't carry stock?

Kind regards,
Lawrence

Hi Kendra,

The current FREE glaze technology course enrolment with each purchase of the
full version of Matrix is a promotional exercise which I initially planned
to continue until Christmas. I may review this deadline closer to Christmas.

I have recently added a reduced enrolment fee to the course for current
Matrix V5 or earlier owners who may wish to upgrade to V6. For those folk
the cost is US $26 for the upgrade and another US $26 for course enrolment.

These are considerable reductions. Prior to the free enrollment promotion
the cost of enrolling in the course was US $168.

Lawrence
