HI Judy,
I bought used plate setters at 7.50 a piece on ebay. This link is what they
look like for 14 inch dinner plates.

The ebay link is this
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ceramic-supplies-DISH-SETTER-kiln-shelf-sitter-2_W0QQitemZ400008573397QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item400008573397&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

on ebay they are called dish setter. I love mine by the way and they are
help for large platters as well as large bowls!

Judy,
I show Orton has 38 dinner plate setters in our "discontinued" =
inventory.
They are not online but we would like to sell. First come first serve. =
Let
me know if we can help.

Judy,

I have purchased plate setters in the past from bigceramicstore.com - and have been happy with the plate setters, although I have had a couple that have slipped off the pin and then stuck to the setter itself, but I think that perhaps that is my fault and that the plates and pins move around when I'm stacking.

I think I read on this list something about plate setters for sale on-line. If you know anything about this, please let me know. I am also looking for kiln stilts for ornaments. I bought some from the Paints and Porcelain vender at the IPAT show in Nashville and they don't sell them on their web site. They are long pointed stilts that are great for firing ornaments. The point goes inside the ornament.

Thanks,
