potash frit, anyone?

Ivor: there is no disagreeing that starting with the cone
deformation is very good and wise . BUT, as we discussed just
recently they do not appear to be any, many, frits that are high
in potash (you opined that this was because of the high cost of
potash) and we do not want to add Boron.

I spent some time just now with GlazeMaster (TM) and got nowhere
with the Seger formula. I could not concoct a thing in the
ballpark.

Also, even if a source of potash would be found, there is no
phosphorus in the Seger formula--and I think phosphorus a great
"ingredient".

Now WHAT is Design Brief for the Commission? It sounds
marvelous--but what is it?
