Wow.....

Phoenix is MUCH more than all that! And yes, you do need a car if you plan
on seeing almost anything in the Phoenix area.....as mentioned in the
article, we are the 5th largest city.

Oh and by the way, I'm not sure just how long this person stayed here, but
our "scorcher" months last much longer than 3 months, plus we also have a
lot more 'celebrities' than mentioned, and we also make a lot of Hollywood
movies here which brings the 'stars' out and about, you can see them at most
of the professional sports venues we have here.

Apparently this person didn't get out of the downtown area too much because
there is much more going on than said. There are not too many places that
I know of that you can drive 2 hours to go snow skiing then come back to 80
degree weather......in the winter.

When you all get here for NCECA you will see that we are quite diverse, lots
of everything. Remember everyone here had to come from some where else!

Phoenix is a great place to live, I have lived here for almost 40 years and
I have seen a whole lot of changes.....some really good and some not, but I
would not live anywhere else, and you will see why, soon.

Bunny

(please don't take this the wrong way L.P. Skeen!)

Hey Bunny,

Did a quick search and found average hi 84F and low 61F in April for
Phoenix.
For NCECA, beginning of April, shall we pack shorts, or what?

Hi Bill,

I would say yes to those shorts! April is one of our nicest months, then
again it is pretty nice right now, too.

You should also pack a light jacket/sweater for evenings it still is a
little chilly once the sun goes down, and speaking of that our sunsets are
the best. Beautiful colors......

Our neighbors were swimming for Thanksgiving........ Ok, now that is a
little extreme for me, but then again I get cold when the temp gets less
than 80 degrees! Yeah, I know.....wimp.
