Ok, I had left out somethings last time I mentioned Pete Pinnell's
workshop. Soooo here it is eveybody!
Pete is coming to U of Florida, located in Gainesville, on the 9th &
10th of January, which is a Friday and Saturday. All of our workshops
are always free to everyone who cares to attend. The workshop will be
held in Fine Arts C Building on the Ground Floor. On Friday the 9th the
fun will begin at 9 am and go until 4 pm, also there be a yummy pot-luck
lunch. A slide lecture will be that evening at 7:30 in Fine Arts C
Building room 201 at 7:30 pm. The workshop will continue on Saturday,
the 10th at 9 am and run until noon. The workshop will focus on Pete's
building skills as well as decisions of surface treatment and glaze
techniques. Pete will also speak about his trip to China where he
researched traditional potters. I hope this might answer any question
people might have, if not just e-mail me.
