pricing pottery

Pricing is not just a matter of determining the size of an item. It is also
product of its form, function, quality, and artistic impression. Pricing
by the inch or volume or mass weight is okay for Tuppa Ware I suppose but
for pottery? I guess it is possible if the work lacks any artistic appeal
and is strickly utilitarian. Just my $.02 worth. ... Marshall

Has nothing to do with _________ work. This is my opinion only..
my $.02 worth. I have seen really big pieces of pottery that were worth
little or nothing and rather small pieces of pottery that were "jewels" so
to speak. Even diamonds are not priced solely based on carat weight.
Diamonds are priced on clarity, weight, color, cut, etc... How one could
price pottery based on solely on its physical dimensions is really beyond
me. I cannot think of any ART FORM
that is priced soley on its physical dimensions. Again just my opinion.
