Hello!
This Bluebird 3" deairing pug mill is their model 440, has new bearings and
a brand new (about 2 hours work time) vacuum pump from Grainger (which
works a lot better than the original). The main motor has always run
perfectly. I bought it from the original owner a couple of years ago and it
has performed well.
But not as good as my new 4" Venco, which has made it redundant!
Asking $1350.

Jeff... Just curious as to what qualities that you see in the Venco that
causes you to prefer it over the Bluebird. I am frequently questioned
about why go Venco and not Bluebird as far as pugmills are concerned. I
can't give an unbiased opinion because I own only the 4" Venco. You are in
a rather unique position since you have owned and used both of them.
Perhaps you would be willing to share some information with us. That
information might help some to make a more informed decision before making
a rather expensive purchase....
