Dan,

I went there last year for the Ellen Shankin and recommend it. The
workshops are on the campus of a boarding/local private school. The
facilities are good, equipment good, and the food excellent. Claire R. is =
a
wonderful director of the program. I don't know which workshop you are
interested in, but I can vouch for Kent M. He knows his stuff and is a fun
person.

I have taken a workshop at Shakerag and
it was great. The staff are helpful and friendly,
the food was great, the facilities are modern and
well maintained.

The location is semi rural and quiet. During the
rest of the year it is a private boarding school.

I would recommend it highly with NO negatives.
I am just waiting to get back there as a student
or a teacher!
