Thanks to Steve Slatin for pointing out to me that perhaps I shouldn't writ=
e
when I'm sleep deprived.

A regular house with 100amp service has the power coming in two legs of
50amps.

I had Watts on the brain as I had just been calculating the energy costs of
my home\studio that day, which is horrible as I'm using $24.00 dollars a da=
y
of electricity alone without kilns running.

Anyways.. Thank you Steve for pointing out my brain fog. Which was still
foggy when I replied to you as well, My wife is out of town for 6 weeks and
I'm getting used to running her business alone, writing software, and
potting - I've been forgetting that sleep is necessary as well.

I do think I got the important point across though. Many, many people just
don't realize on the larger breakers that you have to capture both legs for
the appliance to work.

Cheers,

Rod
