I have to second that with the caveat that anyone can call anything art or =

craft=3D2C and without knowing the persons intended purpose and motivation =

the very instant that artisan is creating=3D2C all mistakes are not bad=3D=

hey can be the "aha" moment for an entire new technique or movement. =3D20

I am working on a Ven Diagram for people to truly understand how the differ=

ent classifications can interlace and am looking to collaborate with others=

to produce a navigable exploration of the diagram=3D2C Rather a triaxial b=
le=3D
nd of Art=3D2C Craft and Crap. the latter of which I attribute poor workman=
sh=3D
ip=3D2C poor mastery of the medium=3D2C and a motivation to just get the mo=
st p=3D
roduct out there or fill the kiln=3D2C despite noticeable flaws.=3D20

the art and craft I hold with equally high regard=3D2C and crap is the stuf=
f =3D
that people oftentimes pass off as art or craft. the filler at art and craf=

t shows between the booths with respectable work. I feel no creative peice =

fits squarely into one group=3D2C there is a craft behind the frescos of th=
e =3D
Sistine Chapel. The art aspect would not survive with out the functional cr=
=3D
aft=3D2C below the paint. The art in that case far outshines the craft howe=

The depth of the craft is something I'm gaining a new appreciation for unde=

The distinction and understanding of where your motivation and purpose come=

s from I feel is a major block inthe foundation of your work and where you =

will go with it. I like to try to do a grouping of peices with a similar fo=

rm and let one be very coarse and then another be very refined then explore=
=3D
the spectrum between.=3D20
