I seem to recall reading that Georgia O'Keefe required a specific grey
to be painted on the gallery walls before her paintings were hung=3D2C thou=

I can't find any references to what that color or it's value was.
Does anyone have that information?
I recently researched a very specific color for a glaze=3D2C in speaking to=

he=3D20
Mason stain lab tech=3D2C I referenced a pantone color to get the=3D20
information I needed.
I like using pantone colors as a reference tool to
visually "translate" a color from person to person=3D2C unfortunately=3D20
pantone color wheels are very expensive. Without my contact=3D20
in the graphics field I would not have had access to one as a=3D20
reference tool. (Thanks Gail)
Recently=3D2C I tested hundreds of glaze colors and combinations for=3D20
my own very specific requirements. For me the most frustrating part of=3D20
glaze making is much like that of parenting.=3D20
You can teach the experiences you have and the mistakes you have made=3D2C=

but until your children make their own mistakes=3D2C=3D20
their experience is still their best teacher.

Could it be the same gray that is on the 18% gray card used by
photographers since her husband was a photographer?
