I said I'd write when the pitting problem was resolved. Jared from
Peter Pugger was very helpful and my pugger was so badly pitted I
ended up with some new parts - and it is now working beautifully.
They've made a change to the metal so that the alkalinity of porcelain
no longer causes it to pit - some new process they're using. There's
also information on their web site for people using porcelain in
puggers.
