This glaze looks a lot like a cone 10 oxidation mat glaze we used to have h=

ere in San Francisco at Ruby's : "Val's Green."=3DA0 (Val Cushing)
=3DA0It goes black when thick, and breaks green over edges. In reduction it=

inks.
The plate probably has raised texture (made over a texture mold as someone =

suggested?)

This glaze had so much copper, we sent to Alfred for testing, and found it =
=3D
leached and discontinued it for community use.=3D20

I have the recipe.=3DA0 it might be in Val's handbook. T
he source for us was someone who had got the recipe from=3DA0 Greenwich Hou=

, a NYC studio.

Best Wishes, Bonita,=3DA0=3D20
who continues lurking here in the SF fog.
