Just a reminder, The Production Company will be holding their annual art =
=3D
show "Art In The Park" this Saturday from 10 - 12 at Highplains Park in =3D
Wiggins (the park behind the bank). We have been instructing and =3D
average of 30 students per day so we have some wonderful pieces of art! =
=3D
Some pieces will be for sale. Our students are very proud of their work =
=3D
but dont be intimidated by their four diget asking price, we are willing =
=3D
to accept your best offer. We have large terra cotta pots, small =3D
pottery, plaster masks, paintings, sand paintings, some weavings, oil =3D
pastels drawings, a couple murals and lots of other exciting pieces. We =
=3D
will be providing cookies and lemonade for you to enjoy while you stroll =
=3D
through the park and view the art. Also be looking for children's =3D
self-portraits and "about the artist" bios. If you are lucky, you will =3D
be able to meet some of the actual artists and visit with them about =3D
their works.
For those of you who don't know, The Production Company is an =3D
afterschool/summer enrichment program for school age children in Morgan =3D
County. This is our 2nd annual art show but the fourth year we have =3D
provided summer camps for rural and underprivledged children. Our =3D
program is based 90% on grants and community donations so we never turn =3D
a child away for his or her inability to pay. Donations are always =3D
welcome! (and greatly appreciated!)
