Jeff Lawrence suggests Crystal soap, which is an excellent product made for
plaster releasing. I've used it, and it does its job.
Another product we currently use in the mold shop is Polyurethane Parting
Compound (PUP) available from Permaflex in Columbus Ohio.
Personally, I'd stay away from any mold release product that is solvent based.
