You betcha! I'm an artist, but I'm not sure I'm ready to add the word
fine to that label. I'm working at it, though. Each piece is coming
out better than before. I'm continuing to learn. I'm continuing to
experiment. Some of the experiments deserve to die a quick death. Some
deserve to be modified. Some are pretty darned good the first time.
I went to see a retrospective of Kandinsky's work at the Guggenheim in
SoHo in the mid '90's. I was blown away by what I saw. Over the
decades, Kandinsky kept experimenting, kept pushing the limits, kept
growing. That's what I want to do. I want to keep growing and learning
and improving my work in each of my media.
