How do I fix this please? The middle bit can come off like a broken tooth. =
I
manage to place my shelve next to it and now it's functioning as its. I
worry that the small sandy bits of brick fall on a glazed ware. The element
is underneath the broken brick but not on top.

Does a brick just break like this from firing? I only fired my kiln 30-ish
times since the purchase. If this is going to happen to the other bricks,
perhaps I should have some cement ready.

Thanks!
May

-------------
May, you could repair the brick by holding the pieces in
place with element staples. Straighten the staples and push
them into the brick with needle nose pliers. Angle the
staples slightly downward.

MAY! That's such an incredibly clean kiln! Do you actually use it?
Good for you. Mine is scruffy, but wonderfully functional.
