Paul,
Potentiometers are ruined by getting wet. Replace it and the
speed control will probably work fine.

the foot pedal
got pushed just a little so i put it back to the off
position. But, the
wheel continues to rotate even when the pedal is off; and it
does not turn
any faster when the pedal is pushed all the way down. So it
is basically
stuck at this speed.
Also, at first i turned it on and off a few times and this
tripped the GFCI
outlet each time i turned it on again.
I opened the controller and didn't find much water but there
was some
moisture in there and i tried to clean it up as best as i
could. After that
it stopped tripping the breaker but still does not work.
Anyone have any ideas on how i could fix this thing?
i don't think it is the motor because it was working perfect
yesterday and
i have never had problems with it. Seems like either the
pedal or
controller.
thanks,
Paul
