Anyone have a recipe for a good cone 6 purple? Preferrably reduction, but I=

Hey Megan,
Jeannies' purple works well for me cone 5 through 6.5 doesn't matter (
oxidation electric kiln) Semi glossy, not matt. Covers well on stoneware
buff as well as darker brown clays.

Here is a glaze my students like to use because it varies so much depending=
=3D
on thickness and being either over or under whites. It is a lighter value =
=3D
with a matt surface that turns pinkish with thicker application. The bigges=
=3D
t problem is the cost with so much cobalt in it. I fire it reduction. Not s=
=3D
ure what will happen in oxidation.
