fixing a pacifica wheel

I finally got to calling the people at laguna today about the dead
wheel we have. in order to diagnose whether it was the sensor in the
pedal or some other part of the control circuitry, I was told to
unplug the wires from the pedal from the board. They said that if you
do this the wheel should spin if the power is on. I did this and had
it showed the sensor is dead.

If this is the case for you, as for the pedal sensor with wand and
cord. There is no listed Laguna part #. They said a new one costs
19.95 plus shipping, all wired up and ready to install, including the
cord to the control box. nice, easy, cheap fix, and hopefully no more
problems for a while. these have been good wheels.

just thought I would pass on this info to anyone else who might have
had or is having these problems.
