Glad to hear all the interest in tea. I will bring my tea wares to =3D
Philly and we'll brew tea Gongfu style in the Clayart room. It'll be =3D
fun.
Bring along your best Yixing-style teapot and it will lead to lots of =3D
fun discussion about aesthetics, function, spout flow and construction, =3D
etc. We'll brew tea in different pots and see the differences. Be sure =3D
you can put your finger on the hole in the lid and stop the flow. =3D
Otherwise the lids isn't tight enough to pass the test!

P.S. Re: Seasoning a teapot...Often when one gets a new Yixing teapot =3D
for use, they'll season it by putting it in simmering water with tea =3D
leaves for up to three days or more. Sometimes then leave it to soak for =
=3D
more. Then it's ready for use and additional natural seasoning.
