Hi Frank,

I have just one thought about computer controlled kilns and that is if you
do not live in a place where your warranty work or repair work would be
done easily and quickly, I would certainly make sure that the kiln had a
kiln setter and timer in addition to the computer control as a back up in
the event you have computer problems. This way if it goes down for one
reason or another you can still fire the kiln. Just a thought.

I would go one step further and have the controller seperately mounted from
the kiln so that the kiln plugs into the controller. Then if the controller
fails you can still plug the kiln into a wall socket.
