I found Lee's 4 years ago, and it truly is the magic kiln wash! I have
applied it to both sides of the shelves and have been able to rotate them s=
o
they never warp. I went to order more, through Axner and they said they no
longer carry it, because Lee no longer makes it. Anyone have any idea of a
kiln wash that sticks to anything, never flakes, and can be put on both
sides so no accidents happen? John Britt sent me some recipes, but they
just don't cover like Lee's did, and the one I did find that doesn't flake,
is so powdery on the surface that I don't trust it to use on both sides of
the shelves....just in case!
Thanks! and please reply to my email if you have news about this awesome
recipe.

Lee's Kiln Wash can now be found on Etsy. Lee has given the recipe to
someone else to make.
Here is a direct link.

If the link won't work, just type "kiln wash" into the search box on
the etsy site.

Hi Erin, I am so sorry to hear that Lee's Kiln Wash is no longer made...It
was a miracle product...expensive and worth every cent/ better than any
other I ever used..don't know a thing about 'Lee' who made it, where it cam=
e
from or what was in it...glad I bought a big jar! I wondered if it had
something like ITC in it. Lori P. in Florida
