3 Day Hands on Workshop ~ $210
DATES: January 16 & 17th 2010

Join Thomas Kerrigan, University of Minnesota Professor Emeritus, for a =3D
three day hands-on workshop to create clay sculptures and sculptural =3D
vessel forms using simple handbuilding techniques. There will also be =3D
extensive exploration into surface treatments especially pre-fire =3D
approaches to surface. Kerrigan will give numerous demonstrations =3D
including his approaches to double-wall constructions and building forms =
=3D
upside-down.
The conceptual emphasis of the workshop will be to create objects that =3D
resonate both personally and spiritually...objects that express inner =3D
consciousness and have a personal spiritual resonance.
His work has been highlighted in recent years in Ceramics: Art and =3D
Perception and Ceramics Monthly, and he is in great demand hosting =3D
workshops throughout the country frequently.
Rarely is he able to give workshops close to home in Tucson, and this is =
