We typically sign and date (the year) all of our pots. It is a
nice touch and many customers do like having a signature. We also
typically provide a business card for every pot that we sell. The pottery
is frequently used as gifts and if the recipient has our card then he or
she knows how to contact us.

Marshall: We too are big believers in the business card. We have a photo
taken of a current pot and have postcards made. The post cards are
included in with the package. As for our business card we order thousands
of tiny roses about the size of your baby finger nail and hot glue them on
the side of our card We then use raffea(not sure of spelling) to tie up
gift box and attach the card and rose to box. Although I wish and I
underline wish everyone recognized the work for its overall strength more
people are adamant that we attach the card and rose to the package. People
even save the cards and put them on the mantleplace of their fireplace.
don't tell anyone out there but my university degrees are in Marketing. I
love the topic with a passion. Potters that make a living at this game are
Marketing specialists whether they like to admit it or not.
Have a bowl of chowder for me.
Cheers,
Tony
