stupid youtube vid, barium, and other things.

The problem with satire is someone always takes it seriously. Always.
Honest, I know this because I used to be a sports writer and I once
wrote a satirical article. Not only did someone call in to complain
because s/he took it seriously, my editor took it seriously.

Barium.. It does NOT make a great laxative. I know this because I've
had a barium enema and a barium swallow. I learned two things from
those procedures: I did not have cancer and barium turns waste into
bricks.

The scary part of this video is that it allows people to think that
glaze chemicals are no more dangerous than flour and sugar. Glaze
chemicals need to be stored properly, handled properly, and the glaze
room/area needs to be kept clean.

I have no idea who this is but it is the most ridicules thing I have
ever
seen an adult do! Then to recommend their students do the same - how
utterly
STUPID!

This is one that should be banned (yes, I know that would be censorship)
Would they leave a post up that suggested putting rat poison in your
coffee?

Deb
When showing visitors through our workshop the garbage
tins of raw materials catch their eye. I describe the
contents, emphasising the delight of local ones &
giving them a taste of the microfine milled limestone.
This is used for pelleting legumes with a mildly high
pH crust. The powder is so fine that dabbed on the
tongue it virtually disappears. If the visitor takes
this as an encouragement to dine on any other of our
ceramic goodies, well, some mothers do have 'em.
