A few years ago I spent a lot of time developing a process for making
decals using sticky ink embossing in an inkjet printer. It is all in
the archives and still posted on my old home page with Apple - see
foot note of this letter. Look for Ink jet embossing rev 7.pdf

The ink jet embossing decals have some advantages in that you can use
white or gold pigment or high fire Mason stains in the image if you
want. Capable of one or two colors but impractical for 4 color work
altho I did it once (but it took 4 hours of my time on the
processing.)

The home page is not a web site - you have to download the pdf's to
read them. There are also some papers from prior work with the black
hp laser prints and ways to get their iron bearing toner on to your
pots. Look for Photographic.ImagesOn Clay(Rev3.pdf

I now have a Ricoh color office copier loaded with color ceramic
toners that make all the previous work somewhat old stuff.
Unfortunatly there is a lot of $$ invested there.
There are people on the internet that have these machines and offer
decals for 25 to 45 dollars, US , for a large A6 or B size sheet.
Andy at Easy ceramic decals (http://easyceramicdecals.com/ ) did
this. Ron Manwiller sells the machines "Ron Manwiller"
