Jiggered plates make a lot of sense to me, with hand finishing of the
foot side. If the foot is made with "extra" that you trim, it is
impossible to tell from hand thrown and trimmed.

Lee: Jiggered dinnerware has always made sense to me. I've threatened
many times to do it. I just don't have room in my small studio for the
molds. We sell quite a lot of plates. We throw and cut them square
which adds to a lot of reclaim. this is why i wanted a Peter Pugger
but my new studio roof robbed me of it.
Cheers,
Tony

Craig Edwards has a Mashiko jigger machine and molds he bought from
Jasper Bond. I want to give it a try sometime. Craig does some
nice eggplant decoration on plates I really like.
