iron red/persimmon

this is a very old idea:
doug gray, joe koons, dannon, susan karrasch
all make slight variations of this glaze.

feldspar 42 9 1/4 lbs
epk 5 1 lb
whiting 6 1 + lb
silica 17 3 3/4 lb
iron ox 12 2 1/2 lb
bone ash 11 2 1/2 -
bentonite to taste.

i have done this in almost oxidation. but, it
usually gets lite reduction.
the slower you cool, the redder it is.
this one has a lot of bone ash. and, it is good.
