Hi Clayarters

Any experience in selling on "collectors' pieces"? What sites are useful to=
reference contemporary auction prices, for instance. I have pieces which w=
ill be of interest to Christies and others of that ilk. In time I will take=
pictures and create a coherent presentation.

Please contact me "off group" with any particular names whom might be usefu=
l. I'm not particularly fussed about urgency and will do a leisurely follow=
-up on any suggestions.

Please, unless it's something confidential or something you really don't
want to share, PLEASE do keep the discussion on-line. There are others
interested in this topic.

That said.

Many auction sites are online and have searchable databases of past
auctions. You can get an idea of the 'going' price for an item at a
particular time from there.

You can also take pieces into the acution houses to be appraised.

You can also look on Ebay for they types of pots you want to sell to
check their 'going' prices.

If the artist is still living and producing, you can check to see what
they are selling similar pieces for today.

There are lots of sources
