Hi all, I have just glazed and fired ware with crackle glaze. My
question is can I accentuate the crackle pattern with overglaze and
fire to make it permanent? I have used china ink in the past, but it
seems to wash out when used in bathrooms, where it's likely to get
wet. I've made soapdishes, by the way. I would appreciate any input,
as I'm running out of time. Deadline is Sunday. Thanks

Hi Vivianne,
You can use chinapaints.. and to do something like this,
you dont even really need a medium.. you can just mix
it with water ... or with flat soda pop ( sugar water )
... It can be fired anywhere from 018 to 015 and it will be
permanent . Lead free chinapaints are available ...
