Hi Clayarters

Season Greetings to one and all. Not been in the studio for a while, been t=
reading the stage in Inspecting Carol as Dorothy here in Mount Vernon. Huge=
fun and it has beat the winter blues. Back...back...you black dogs...back.=
Get off my shoulder. (nod in acknowledgement to Winston Churchill for the=
Black Dogs of Depression line.)

In the midst of the run, a routine dental appt for cleaning and wing-snap x=
-rays. A shadow detected and so my excellent dentist took me in hand and ha=
d me in the chair the very next morning to whap through a porcelain crown t=
o check out suspected infection. Believe me that was a long drilling sessio=
n, I have a lot of respect for diamond drills, etc. Then another session ad=
ded ad hoc dependant on cancellations. I cite all these permutations becaus=
e you'll know that it's not straight forward this planning and so forth. Wh=
en the second session was done and dusted, I packed up some nice pieces to =
deliver to M, receptionist, T, Dr M's right hand woman, and Dr M. It was su=
ch a kick to receive a note back from them all. One of them had never had a=
n original piece of art, ever.

Well, I hope I've kick-started the original art deal. No cost to me, BTW, a=
s I'd paid for the original root canal a couple of years ago. It was a sort=
of "recall and make it right" deal. What can be better?

Have a lovely break, and hope that you and yours and well and happy.
