Hi
I work with paperclay, and use only up to 25 lbs/week. Located in Gainesvil=
le, Florida, I cannot store the clay long. Mixing by the 25 lb wet pre-mixe=
d clay works, but it seems silly for the company to prepare the clay and fo=
r me to render it into slip again to incorporate the paper pulp. So I would=
rather start with dry clay. Does anyone know a supplier that would ship dr=
y clay? I especially like Laguna's Frost, but am on the lookout for other t=
ranslucent cone 6 bodies. I have worked in the past with a Val Cushing form=
ula, but I lost it since and can't seem to dig it out of my books. Tips?

There was a thread on this subject not long ago, so check recent archives.
I had mentioned Standard Ceramics in Pittsburgh as one clay maker that sell=
s
their clays dry.
One you might try from them is Tom's Best.
This is Tom Turner's porcelain/
Though a ^9 body, it is translucent at ^6.
Tom showed me an example fired to ^6 and it was somewhat translucent.
