Hay Folks,=3D0A=3D0A The Pentax Optio W80 got here after dark on Wednesday =

e I was out because I'd been sitting home since 6AM when it went out for de=

livery from Iron Mountain 7 miles away. I guess they had to go to Ontonagon=

first... I think that's way up North along Lake Superior about 40 miles Ea=

st of Off-ta-nogen. So I charged up the battery in less than an hour, did a=

bit of reading in the 274 page manual, and made a test shot and a video. I=

've got a lot more reading of details on the settings so this first still i=

r areas of one color look a little spotty like the black in the 3 pot cover=

s on the glaze table, seems I see reds, blue, and greens if I look close bu=

fferent. I'll need more practice to get the best results.=3D0A=3D0A I want =

ry shooting in the cold too but it's 10=3DB0F out and I'm not ready to go o=

yet so that will have to wait until it gets above 14=3DB0F which is the lo=

r limit of cold the battery is designed to handle. I'll probably just film =

throwing inside until we have enough pots to finish loading the kiln and fi=

re in the cold. Geeze, that gives me another three months to fool around in=

here before the frost even begins to come out of the ground. Like I say, I=
