Greetings to everyone.
I'm sending this out to inform and invite anyone who may be interested
in a kiln building workshop to take place in Japan this fall.
Craig Edwards, the main presenter, will be designing, instructing, and
overseeing the construction of the wood kiln, which will be a small
anagama/noborigama to be used primarily, but not exclusively in the
firing of Karatsu style glazed ware.
During the course of the main workshop, a one day mini workshop on
Karatsu pottery techniques, clay, and glazes will be conducted by
veteran Karatsu potter Tsuruta Yoshihisa.
For anyone who knows Craig, this event promises to be as fun as it will
be educational. So if you're interested in learning hands on how to
build a wood kiln, or are interested in Karatsu pottery techniques and
