Hello,
Fellow Potters. We have our historic house For Sale. It is 5 Bedroom
with original hardwood floors!! The windows are mostly original- except
for the occasional "pillow fight accident"
or "golf ball" through the glass. It is the kind of house that calls
out to the "artist" in you. High ceilings, big front porch, "organic
herb garden."
NC is also rich with Old Time Pottery traditions - where the residents
appreciate and love clay creations both old time and newer electric
fired work.
Most of the changes that we have added to this house have been to make
it more "potter" friendly. Hot/cold sink in basement. (Walkout
basement/ that was probably once where someone
kept their horse and buggy.) Basement has original sliding wood garage
doors that open to let in the sun! Covered area off the patio has an
area with a fairly new Shimpo kiln - to keep all the fumes out of the
house!!
(Kiln is NOT included with the house, unless a potter is the buyer, in
which case I would consider leaving it - and buying myself another just
like it!!) It is wired with the 220 big plug!
