Hey Gang,
A gal in the U.K. really wants to buy this years Clayart shirt but isn't go=
ing to nceca. She is willing to pay the shipping but I had an idea last nig=
ht
that might help keep the Shippng cost down . Is anybody from England going=
to Philadelphia this year? If you are please contact me.
$75.00 shipping for one $15.00 T shirt Is more than my unreasonable guilt c=
an handle. There is a small compensation for your help.
Thanks in advance !

Logan...
Not sure what shipper you were looking at, but shipping on a shirt to the U=
K
is only about $13 through the post office. You can squeeze it into a small=
,
flat-rate box, or just ship it weighed and measured in whatever small box
you have on hand. I just shipped a vintage bowling shirt (a really cool
one) to France for $13. Here is the link to the postage calculator:

Another tip: You have to fill out a customs declaration. One of the
choices on the form is "gift". Tick this box, and you will save the
recipient the VAT or other taxes. None of the other boxes really apply
anyway, as it is not "commercial merchandise" nor a "sample".
All the best.

Logan,
You might look into "mailing" instead of "shipping" to the UK. Riskier I
suppose, but I have run into this problem with buying and selling across
our northern border with our Canadian friends. It has been quite a
while, and I have forgotten the details, but with the customs issues,
and different ways of handling packages it might be a better way.
